Kelaiah Horat is a Franco-American violinist and educator dedicated to making music both accessible and deeply expressive.
She earned her Bachelor of Music in the United States under the guidance of Dr. Margaret Baldridge before continuing her advanced studies at the École Normale de Musique de Paris Alfred Cortot with Isabelle Flory and Florin Szigeti. She holds a Diplôme d’Exécution, a Diplôme Supérieur d’Enseignement, and a Certificat de 2ème Cycle Supérieur with high honors. Throughout her career, Kelaiah has participated in masterclasses with distinguished musicians such as Régis Pasquier, Maurice Moulin, Jorja Fleezanis, Maria Larionoff, Tim Fain, and Linda Melsted. She has performed with various orchestras and chamber ensembles and regularly appears as a soloist for concerts, weddings, and special events. Beyond performing, Kelaiah is a passionate educator. She currently teaches violin and viola at the Conservatoire du 17ème, for the association ACMA, and through private instruction. Her teaching approach blends technical precision with musical artistry, encouraging students to develop independence, confidence, and a deep appreciation for music.
